n case you aren't already counting down the days until your three-day weekend commences...feast your eyes on THESE:
That's right ladies, the fabulous mixologists over at the Conrad Hotel in NYC have combined two of our most favorite things in life: popsicles and wine; to create what can only be described as this culinary stroke of genius: wine soaked-popsicles. This weekend we'll be stocking up on our fave sauv blanc and plenty of popsicles...specifically of the red, white, and blue variety! Cheers, bikini babes!

Last weekend we teamed up with one of our FAVE bloggers, the ever-so-fabulous, Miss Kelly Golightly, for a pre-Cinco De Mayo #FlamingoFiesta! And let me tell you- this girl knows how to throw a party!

Naturally, our favorite part of ANY party is the food. (Duh.) Kelly’s flamingo-themed fare was out of this world! With some help from her “food stylist” (yep- that’s a thing) Hope, these girls created a spread that almost looked too beautiful to eat!

From flamingo shaped watermelon, bowls made out of pineapples, and a tower of macaroons; we had plenty of pretty snacks throughout the day.

The drinks were just as adorable- in fact we were sippin’ straight out of L*Space curly straws! Kelly mixed up some amazing libations with two of our fave drink go-to’s: Skinny Girl Cocktails and Nektar mixers. A match made in cocktail heaven!

Stay tuned for our next #FlamingoFiesta blog post; where we’ll re-cap our second favorite part of any party…the fashion!

I wanted to give you a sneak peek at what’s inspiring our Poolside Glamour Pool Party + a fun cocktail recipe so that you may be inspired to host a pool party of your own…

Pool parties are a great time to have fun and unwind with your best babes for a day of sunshine, sips…and swanning! always look to the king of poolside glamour, Slim Aarons, for party inspiration. And I love to include my Swannie Golightly and must-have ‘mingos.

Every good Slim Aarons party includes an element of humor and surprise and since our party is the weekend before Cinco de Mayo, we’re having a flamingo fiesta! Think bright pops of pink as well as citrus hues…you can see more of my inspiration over on my L*Space Pinterest board

And be sure to follow along on Instagram for sneak-peeks as I prep for our party this week!
