Keeping A Breast: L*Space Gets Pink for a Purpose

L*Space by Monica Wise, the Orange County based swimwear label recently recognized for their humanitarian collaboration with OmniPeace and environmentally friendly collection have brought a new plate to the ever growing table of participation. Designer Monica Wise is teaming with Keep A Breast founders Shaney Jo Dardena and Mona Mukherjea to foster awareness of the most common form of cancer in women.

According to the American Cancer Society (ACS), a woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer every three minutes. Although no magical pill, surgery, or treatment can defeat the disease there is one cure often overlooked among healthy, young women- prevention. The ladies of Keep A Breast, a non-profit organization who’s very mission is prevention takes early action exposing young people to the methods of detection and support through educational programs, fundraising, and art driven events. For this incredible movement Monica premiers her Girls “Breast” Friend bikini exclusively at Everything but Water, with 100% of the proceeds donated towards the Keep A Breast foundation. “Our millenniums are unique when it comes to message outreach,” states Wise “and Darden and Gehric brilliantly channel this market with a campaign that women young and old can identify with.”

Together, L*Space and Keep A Breast are committed to expand education through grassroots arts and artistic expression in hopes of increasing breast cancer awareness among young people so they are better equipped to make choices and develop habits that will benefit their long-term health and well-being.
