2010 Collection
Love. Life. Luxury. Whatever your “L” may be, the L*Space by Monica Wise collection is back and better than ever with a sexy new line, eco-friendly fabrics, and a humanitarian collaboration for 2010. The colors are bold, the prints are fierce, and the silhouettes- smoldering, revealing more skin and less bikini.
This season designer Monica Wise features prints full of personality. “Wild Child,” a lackadaisical vintage floral blend of teals and creams, and “Rebel Rebel,” an edgy twist on the preppy rugby stripe pay homage to the designer’s alter-ego. Feeling a flashback? “Electric Avenue” revisits geometric patterns and gnarly neon’s of the 80’s. Of course the sets would not be complete without L*Space sensual solids to create an eclectic, yet complementary blend of mix and match swimwear statements in new colors like limón, royal, and orange.
Known for bringing sexy from the beaches of Cali to the shores of the Hamptons, L*Space by Monica Wise takes lust to an entire new level. Styles appropriately named “Scanty”, “Twiggy”, and “Ooh La La” grace bikini bodies with far less coverage, flirty crochets, and rouched embellishments. The one-piece radiates in all its fabulousness with a plunging (down to there) ‘V’, and curve enhancing cut-outs for the sexiest silhouette on the shore. Jewelry inspired hardware adds that finishing touch incorporating colored chain, gun metal, faux leather buckles, and custom logo gold leaving an L*Space mark.
Going green has never looked so good as “Slinky Solids” return this season with an innovative eco-chic twist. The collection incorporates new corn-based Sorona fabric made from renewable resources. The fabric reduces CO2 green house gas emissions and requires 40% less energy to produce. Offered in chocolate, black, teal, and crimson, this sensuous set creates an eco-chic collection friendly to the body and the environment.
L*Space unites with OmniPeace producing an organic yet elegant safari collection exclusive for the humanitarian effort to promote peace, education, human rights, and end extreme poverty in Africa by 2025. Using African-influenced prints, the small line named after villages positively impacted by OmniPeace- Makale and Louga – feature chic style, luscious fabrics, and custom OmniPeace hardware with 25% of all sales donated to benefit the OmniPeace foundation.
Although the bikini’s herald the beach all on their own, one final element completes the collection. From sophisticated- chiffon peacock print and lightweight cotton pantsuits, to playful- brightly colored terry cloth jumpers, L*space cover-ups create an essential accessory perfect for the city or the sand.
