We caught up with our Swim & Active Director, Oanh, to learn more about the collection and get the inside scoop on what inspired it.
What inspired the colors and silhouettes of the pieces?
Most of the colors are an extension of our main swim collection but drew inspiration from the sunsets. In silhouettes - we drew from what has been trending (like the corset seams). We wanted the collection to be functional and fashionable.
Which pieces are you most excited about and why?
I'm excited to see how the color blocks do - they are fun, especially the Sunburst. It's in your face, but I love the look of it!
What were some things the team was thinking about during the design process?
We wanted this to be an extension of what our swim collection - sexy, sporty and fun. Our L girls love being in the sun, so we wanted something that she can wear working out and just out and about. Our swim collection is known for our fit and soft fabrics and we wanted that for our active collection - the second skin, soft feel, and fits to your curves.
