Hi Brooklyn! Thanks for taking time out of your day to catch up! Can you describe your typical day?

Ok, well let me first say, I’m a stay at home mom of 3 young girls so my “typical day” is going to sound super boring and like I do nothing, but I swear I’m really busy. 😂

On a typical day after I drop the girls off for school and clean up the house, I always make time to work out. I love to run and do Barre on the Sweat app! The rest of the day is filled with more cleaning, laundry, errands, quality time and crafts with my youngest, and then it’s time to pickup my older girls and head to sports practices. I warned you, super boring 🙈 Fridays tend to be more of a fun day for my other mom friends and I. We love to pack lunches and take our littles to run around at a winery while we catch up and sip wine. It’s the absolute best!!

Deff not boring! We will have to try out the sweat app! Your girls are coming in town, where is the first place you’re taking them?

I live on the coast so if I ever have friends in town, I would definitely take them wine tasting at one of the many wineries around here, some shopping at one of the Wildflower Women boutiques followed by Lido at Dolphin Bay to sit and drink champagne and enjoy the most incredible view on the Central Coast!

We love Wildflower Women Boutique ! We're starving after wine tasting + shopping, where are we eating?

This is so hard to answer, there are literally SO many amazing restaurants up and down the coast! If you’re in North County, La Cosecha is my favorite lunch spot! The Beet Salad with Salmon is delicious! Fish Gaucho is also one of my favorites for dinner!

On the coast, my favorite spots are Giuseppe’s if you’re in the mood for Italian (and you must try one of their infamous flat liners), Mason Bar in the darling little village of Arroyo Grande (get the Brussels Sprouts) and of course, Ember. Ember is one of those places that you’ll wait for hours for a table and you don’t even mind because it’s SO worth the wait!! Their menu changes monthly and it never disappoints!

We're a sucker for Brussels Sprouts! Where are we heading for drinks?

If you’re in Paso, you must grab a drink at the Alchemist Garden! It’s fairly new and has the most creative and unique cocktails in the entire area! Think smoky drinks, beautiful garnishes and a super cool vibe!

For just a good time and really good cocktails, the locals all love Pappy McGregors! They have delicious craft cocktails, as well as local beers and wines.

Located right behind Pappy’s is a new place called Eleven Twenty Two that is a speakeasy with a candlelit, 1930’s vibe. They also have really unique, fun cocktails and it all feels very Great Gatsby!

Any go-to wineries we have to hit?

Again, so impossible to only list a couple. If you’re in Paso and you’re wanting a bougie vibe, go to Law Estate Wines, Clos Solene, Halter Ranch, Alta Colina, Epoch, L’Adventure, Caliza (ask for Mandy), Tooth and Nail and Rava! These all have great wines paired with a gorgeous ambiance!

Tin City is really fun too! It’s not as bougie but they have beer, wine, music and if you sit at the bar, chances are the person pouring for you is the person who created the wine or beer!

I hope this helps and as you can tell, there is definitely no shortage of fun things to do around here! I feel so lucky to live on the Central Coast….annnnd now I want a drink 😆

Deff craving a wine trip with my besties now! Thanks for catching up with us Brooklyn! If you head to any of the places above, let us know what you think!

xx

Keep up with Brooklyn here!
