Chasing the Heat
Summer has always been our favorite time of year.
The days stretch a little longer, the nights stay warmer, and everything feels a little more carefree. It's the season of spontaneous road trips, golden sunsets, salty skin, and those unforgettable moments that seem to last forever. When we began dreaming up our Heatwaves collection, we wanted to capture that exact feeling, the intoxicating energy of summer at its peak.
For this campaign, we headed to Joshua Tree, where the desert landscape felt like the perfect backdrop for the story we wanted to tell. There’s something magical about the contrast between the dry desert air and the vibrant colors of summer. The heat is palpable, the light is intense, and every sunset feels cinematic.
From the moment we arrived, we were inspired by the environment around us. The warm terracotta tones, endless blue skies, towering palms, and sculptural cacti became an extension of the collection itself. Every corner of our location felt sun-drenched and alive, creating the ideal setting to showcase the bold colors and tropical energy of Heatwaves.
The Inspiration
Heatwaves is a love letter to summer's boldest moments.
We were inspired by the electric glow of a horizon fading from coral to gold, the confidence that comes from slipping into your favorite swimsuit, and the feeling of staying out just a little longer because the night is too good to end.
The collection is filled with sunset-soaked gradients, juicy brights, tropical prints, and warm tones that feel straight out of a desert dream. We wanted every piece to embody the feeling of summer heat on sun-kissed skin.
Life Behind the Lens
Some of our favorite moments happened in between takes.
Mornings started with coffee and styling sessions as we laid out swimsuits, accessories, and inspiration images. Throughout the day, we chased the light, moved from room to room as the sun shifted, and found beauty in the smallest details, from vintage cameras and oversized sunglasses to fresh fruit, tropical cocktails, and stacks of inspiration tears scattered across tables.
The location itself became part of the story. Clean architectural lines, textured walls, woven furnishings, and desert landscapes created a sense of effortless luxury that felt uniquely LSPACE.
As temperatures climbed, so did the energy on set. Music played, the team moved quickly between looks, and every image began to embody the carefree confidence we had envisioned from the start.

More than anything, Heatwaves is about embracing the season.
It's about those sun-drenched afternoons that turn into warm summer nights. It's about gathering with friends, ordering another round, taking the scenic route home, and living fully in the moment.
This collection celebrates the bold, playful, and unapologetically fun side of summer, the side that reminds us why we wait all year for these months. Because when the temperatures rise and the light is just right, summer has a way of making everything feel possible.
